Taryn joined the Mini Maestros family in 2000. After several years working as a teacher for Head Office she became the Essendon/Niddrie franchisee in 2006 and has never looked back. Now boasting 20 years of experience in Piano teaching and 17 years specialising in Early Childhood Music she loves working with children and providing strong musical foundations in these developing years.
Music has been a part of Taryn’s life for as long as she can remember. Starting formal training at age 4 Taryn has studied Piano, Voice, Music Theory, Music Therapy through to University. She has a Bachelor of Music (Music Therapy) from Melbourne University, Grade 8 AMEB in Piano and Voice and Grade 6 AMEB Music theory. Her background as a Music Therapist has also given her an understanding of children with special developmental needs.
